Mercedes® Oxygen Sensor, After Catalytic Converter, C280/C230/C36, 1994-2000

At an operating temperature above 300 degrees C and depending on the oxygen content in the exhaust gases the O2 sensor indicates a voltage and thereby informs the control unit whether the air-fuel mixture is richer or leaner than the desired value.
