Mercedes® Steering Lock, Mech.1990-1995

If your steering lock needs to be replaced, you may want to have it professionally done. In most cases, the instrument cluster and the bottom dashboard paneling must be removed for access. In some instances, the steering wheel and combination switch have to be moved. If the ignition key is jammed in the ignition tumbler, professional help is definitely needed as the key must be moved to different positions to remove the lock.

This product is warrantied by Mercedes®. If you need to activate the warranty, you must take the product to any Genuine Mercedes® Dealership and they will assess the problem. If the product is faulty, they will replace it at no additional charge. If they find the product has been damaged during installation or removal, the warranty will not be honored and you will be charged for the service performed by the dealership.
