If the ignition lock tumbler freezes up, or you can't turn the key more than a couple of degrees, it's time to replace the ignition tumbler. If the tumbler can not be turned to the correct position for removal, the tumbler will probably have to be drilled out by a locksmith. NOTE: Ignition lock tumblers with key are "lock undefined". This means the key will only work the ignition. You will have to use the original key for the doors, trunk, etc.
