Replace the brake fluid reservoir is the housing becomescracked or is leaking brake fluid. Sometimes the floats for thefluid level on the inside of the reservoir will stick or thenipples on the bottom of the housing will break off or crack whenthe reservoir is being removed from the master cylinder. Theseconditions warrant replacement also. Don't forget to flush thebrake system and add clean brake fluid after the installation ofthe new reservoir.
