If your Mercedes is sagging, front or rear, it could be time for new springs. Suspension springs do eventually wear out and need to be replaced. When replacing the springs, it is a good idea to replace the spring pads also. The spring pad is the rubber shim perch on top of the spring. The rubber deteriorates and the spring must be removed to replace the spring pad.
