Replace the brake fluid reservoir is the housing becomes cracked or is leaking brake fluid. Sometimes the floats for the fluid level on the inside of the reservoir will stick or the nipples on the bottom of the housing will break off or crack when the reservoir is being removed from the master cylinder. These conditions warrant replacement also. Don't forget to flush the brake system and add clean brake fluid after the installation of the new reservoir.
