Mercedes® Vacuum Switch-Over Valve, Three Port, 1965-2000

The vacuum switch-over valve on earlier Mercedes models controls several functions, including the locking system, engine shutoff (on diesels), and several aspects of the climate control system. Performance Products brings you this quality replacement part to help fix issues with the vacuum system. So, if your diesel engine will cut off properly but your door locks will not work, you will need to start checking the vacuum lines between the two and they usually terminate at the vacuum switch-over valve. NOTE: Some applications will only use two of the three available vacuum ports on this switch. If your Mercedes only needs two, you may cap off the one unnecessary port without effecting switch performance.
